Billie Baber
Program Director
Billie Baber serves as the Program Director for the Rocky Mountain Veterans Advocacy Project. A United States Air Force veteran, Billie brings over 26 years of leadership experience and an unwavering commitment to advancing the rights and well-being of fellow service members.
Originally from El Paso, Texas, Billie Baber is the daughter of a career Army soldier and Vietnam veteran. Growing up in a military family, she witnessed firsthand the sacrifices service members and their loved ones make, as well as the challenges many face after returning home. This early exposure instilled in her a lifelong respect for the military community and a deep commitment to veterans’ advocacy commitment that continues to guide her work today.
Through her Air Force service and subsequent work as a social worker supporting homeless veterans, Billie gained a profound understanding of the complex challenges veterans encounter during the transition to civilian life.
